Technical Chevy inline six help????

Trying to figure out what engine I've go in my 53 belair... I've looked online and can't find anything with a block casting # of 5843350 head casting # 3701887

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Looks like your block is Canadian 235 1953/54. let me try to give you 2 web sites: stovebolt.com and inliners.org.
on the stovebolt web site go to the Forums, Engine, Casting #s look for 48-54 Canadian engine numbers and scroll down to 1953. http://hotrod.gregwapling.com/chev-trucks-47-55/canadian-chev.html

Sorry couldn't find a listing for the head but it might be Canadian also.
