Cool ride. Keep at it. I love early Nova's. If I ever get to build another gasser it will be a Nova or a 33 Willys 4 door sedan. Any chance you could help out with finding a pair of Acadian 6 cylinger fender emblems, the ones that look like compass points with a 6 in the middle? Looking for a pair for my Nova wagon. They don't need to be perfect either. just good driver quality.

Jay, nice post. I love what you are doing with the deuce. Stick an axle under the Acadian and it will be done too! Always liked the Acadians, my cousin had a '67.

My dad was born and grew up not too far from you, beautiful country!

    Keep the progress pics coming!

    Later,

    Mike

Very nice car Bill. How about some bias plies on the front and some white VHT on those headers?

Here's a picture of the Nova I'm building. It will have an injected BBC and glide.

Great thread. This brings up memories of a Nova I use to see in Bell, Ca. (ya the city in the news) in the 70's as a kid. It was metalic blue 62-65 body, had the name Lil Thumber on it. I always wonder about this car and what became of it.

  24. Same motor, just hooking hard! No, I don't think he is a member here.

Was this car up in Redding CA? It looks like the rear was moved years ago.

I'm so tempted to put an axle and a big block in this but common sense is telling me to leave it alone and have fun driving it the way it is. Then again common sense isn't all that much fun.:D
