Chevy HEI & Starter Wiring

I have a 1958 Chevy Delray with a 235. Im installing a HEI (purchased from Tom Langdon). Does anyone have a wiring diagram for wiring the starter and HEI?

Langdon sent me a Q&A sheet that answered most of my question, but when I went to turn the key......well.....lets just say my nieghbor thought I was having a barbque in my garage.

I removed the resistor and ran a 10ga wire from the igniton straight to the coil (+ side). Anyone have any idea what went wrong?

 

FIXED IT! Running a little rough. I'll drink a few beers then adjust the timing.
