What where these out of and what are they worth ?

not my pic I stole it from @Mike Colemire thread.

The 2 I got are near mint , one looks like it was just rebuilt and the other is really clean as well.

looking for what they came on originally and possible value.

58-61 chevy.... I bought a chrome one at a swap meet a year or 2 back for 50 bucks... I don't know what they are worth. I think the gen minus the ps pump is the same generator corvettes used with a tach drive on the back

Just noticed this yesterday while searching for a radiator shroud for my '56 Vette (hint hint)

  4. I’ll advertise em for 50 bucks each
They weigh a ton so shipping them is out .

not sure what I paid for them but knowing me obviously not much and I did end up with 3 or 4 when I built my fleetline .

Well it looks like that is my learning experience for the day. I was thinking that combo was only on six cylinders but here it is on a 348 in a 58 Impala. 1958-chevrolet-impala.jpg 1958-chevrolet-impala.jpg

I think 59 was the last year for the generator mounted pump on Chevys.

at least that's what a quick google images search of 59 and 60 chevy engines reveals.
