I installed a kit from CPP(I think) with a dropped arm to work with my dropped axle and the turning radius is horrible now.

    This Kit:

It is not the axle or stops on the axle, it looks to be the new power steering box's internal stops limiting the travel. It takes 4 lanes with te median in the middle to actually make a u-turn.

Has anyone else had this problem? did I get the wrong gearbox?

What gear box did you use? Is the drag ling adjusted? Im running the same kit in my '51 and it turns alright. For the wheel base it seems to turn a little wide.

Well the gearbox is something like a '75 chevy 2wd box I think. It was a swap mwt find so I'm not completely sure. Drag link is adjusted. It turns the same amount in both directions, but just way too wide.

If i remember correctly mine turns just over 2 turns in each dirrection from center. I'll double check in the next day or two when i won't piss off the neighbors.
