Chevy 283 short block

Hello,
I have a Chevy 283 short block with what looks like a Saginaw 3 speed tranny. There are some numbers stamped into the block but I don't know how to interpret them to decipher the year.
Trying to gain a little more knowledge before offering it for sale.
Any real info will help.
