I am about to pull the original 216 out of my 52 chevy and swap it for a 235 out of 62 impla. I've been doing some research and it looks like most parts will interchange w the 216 w the exception of the water pump. I may have to get the shorter shaft pump or i may be able to get away w/ just shimming the radiator away from the moter ( wait n see on that) I'm just curious if anyone knows anything I'm not aware of just yet. My concearns are the motor mounts, the water pump, obviously, and the fenton split exhaust I'm currently running on the 216. Will it bolt rt up to the 235? Thanks for any help and or tips!
