My 50 Chevy pu project has a mid 80's Camaro 10 bolt rear end,
using a tci lowering kit (leaf springs, hangers etc.)
I'm switching from the drum brakes to a Classic Performance Products
rear disc brake kit about $500 includes integrated e-brake set-up.

Some of the later S10 4x4's had disc brake rearends in them. They are about 57" wide, IIRC. Ones from a 4.3 V6 should have the larger 8.5" ring gear. 5 lug 4 3/4" pattern.
