For sale: Chevrolet "379" cast 4 bolt main 350 block, casting date B261 or B281. Someone said this is 1972. Standard bore. This block was for a project that got started, but never finished before the owner was incarcerated. It was cleaned, honed, new cam bearings installed, and prepped for a rebuild. It was oiled, but has been sitting around for a few years since the machining was done, so it needs a little clean up and minor rust removal. Includes a B&M gear drive front cover if you want it, and a high volume oil pump that had a Moroso performance pickup tube brazed to it. I also have a Moroso chrome plated 7 quart oil pan available for an extra $80. This motor will be a great foundation for you to build your 350 or a 383 stroker, and you can buy it for less than the cost of the machine work that was done.
