Been eyeing this car for years. It was on top of a hill barely visible from the highway, behind a locked gate and a no trespassing sign. Left a note in the guys mailbox a few weeks ago, and darned if he didn't call me back. $500. '82 tags on the plates. 283/glide. Lots of rat s--t.
Very nice. There is a thread here on the HAMB about a 4 door to 2 door conversion. Either way you definately got your monies worth.
Maybe just a nice stocker? Just a repaint and some seat covers....what do ya think? Low budget. engine turns
id like to find a cheap 60 impy that fred flintstone or one of his friends didnt own nice find great score last 60 impala i found guy said his friend just bought gonna restore it 2 weeks later it was sitting in the junkyard where it still is yes 2 F**KIN weeks
Nice Score and Looks good Kevin..........too many doors, but we know how to fix that!!!! Actually I kinda like it as a 4-door. Just get it running and have fun with it.
It looks like you persistence paid off, nice score for $500. I love CO cars. My brother lived out there for years. Once when he was visiting MN his young son saw a old car here and pointed at it saying, "dad what is that funny looking stuff on that car?". Turns out it was the first time he had seen (or at least noticed) rust holes on a car.
That is sweet! Colorado is an awsome place. I was in Denver and Colorado Springs couple of months ago. Lots of Tin still in the woods, with a few very nice daily drivers in COS.
Very nice find. I had a 59 Chevy "Drop top" in high school.Sure wish I had it back.Tom (Tired Old Man)
