Dirty- Your 54 is coming along great! I am really diggin all the changes your making and would do them exactly the same. Looks like between your Pops and that well equipped shop your ride will be done in no time. I live on Long Island also and go by TJ's alot so I hope I get to see it in person sometime.

So like i said that bumper was next to get the treatment. To match the front we took the bolt heads out and welded up the seams then blacked it out. Was going to use the bumper guard again to hold the plate , but it just didnt look right was bulky and didnt flow with the front very well. So my father did a little digging on the shelfs and found this brand new nos " Hollywood " kar lite $1.79 haha. It was just what was needed to finish the smooth look . Made up a custom plate to hold just the right angle and it worked out just right. Also got the new large lee lenses in and made up another custom little attachment to add a second bulb where the reverse light once went. Check out the before and after pictures , it the little things that separate us!!

Got a little more body work done on the back and finished it off by rolling and molding in the rear pan. For some reason the trunk lid had a layer of rust under the paint like crust on bread. Needed some serious sanding and a little acid treatment to really clean it up.

Trunk got some very needed TLC i don't have any before pics but it was very nasty with random holes in the floor and about 3 different colors . Holes where patched and plugged and a nice coat of primer and satin black went down on the lid as well as new weather strip

Does this mean the rear window is plexi? Usually that's a sign of a chop gone wrong. Hope you can get real glass in there if so.
