  5. Yeah, ol'Jay was flopping around pretty hard in there. His arms were all over, could have been a LOT worse.

Wheelstander not good a drifting and drag racer not experienced at counter-steer. Glad they are both OK especially with Jay's hand out the window so much. His instincts were good.

  15. First clue I got was the rear of the car coming off the ground when they hit a bump, then it was time to hold on. WOW

  17. It's a shame that is a bitchin car iv seen it wheeling down the drag strip and it is awesome. Good thing their ok and that ol dude is even cooler now rolling cars at 80 and they will rebuilt it for some more wheelies. The car started to do the big wheel hop and then he turned the wheel on the bank. Them cars go straight not turn. I love that car.

Nice nobody was hurt. A million dollar car on it's roof! No insurance! Ouch!

Holy Moly!!! that hurts to watch, that has always been one of my favorite cars.
I wonder if Jay will help him out on the rebuild, lord knows he has the resources.

    Thanks for posting that

  21. Man, that hurt to watch. When I was a kid I built the model of that car, one of my favorites. Later I met Mr. Leno at a couple of British bike rallies. Kinda personal to me.

That's why drag strips are straight! Way to test the roll cage.

Bummer deal, glad the boys were OK. Been at that track a time or 2 with a USAC Sprint Car effort and spent time in that infield. Neat facility but not the flattest. Hopefully the infield wasn't chosen for the best camera angles in the best interest of TV production, there's a perfectly good but narrow and short dragstrip on the same complex. Could have been worse. Caught a teaser on last nights episode and wondered what the back story was. One of my favorite cars and love what Jay does all around by sharing his garage with us.

Glad they both got out unharmed. In the interest of the Historical Record is that the original car or a clone built later on? Bob

I thought the original was a 65 or 66 ?? no nets or anything on the windows... could have lost an arm....kind of goofy to do it in a bumpy parking lot when there is a drag strip there.
