carter afb help

    first off i did a search and did not find my numbers,,, now then im putting a tunnel ram on a 396,, 56 chevy 210 /straight axel...i dug around and found a carter carb ,, i need a pr,, so the number on this carb is 349637s, what size is this and any chance i will find something the same? ha ha i think i need a pr of 500 cfm as the motor is not built up..the swap meet is this week end and like most of us im on a low budget... so if i cant find a match for this one or if this one is too big...should i look for the s 9502 thanks for any help ahead of time

    A 9637S is a 625 cfm carb.

    ive got two holley 4224 carbs from a blower and the linkage if interested pm me.they need cleaning but are perfect tunnel ram carbs.

    merch 49 thanks,, my mechanic hates holly's otherwise i would,,, heathen thanks i need to find another 625.........or 2 500s

    two 500s best to use. E3 9637 is perfect for '68 Ford 302

    You can also use a Carter AFB 9635 same CFM as your 9637 the 9637 has the nub for the Ford kickdown linkage,a 9605 would also work it has a manual choke instead of electric.

    thanks for the info .. well i have the 9637s and a freind has a 9635 sa are they compatible? thanks again
