Looks to be a Coupe that was chopped and the roof covered, rather than a Carson which would be a fabric covered lift off roof on an open car. If that roof comes off, it'll have an out of place Sport Coupe door frame. Looks really odd. Would look better IMHO with the entire roof paint matched. The white colored roof negates the chop and makes the roof a bubble.
I gotta ask, did you speak to the owner? I hope you didn't just walk into someone's driveway and start taking pictures and then start posting on the Internet? Nice looking car though.
