A couple of weeks ago I asked about the story behind the Du Vall windscreen and got lot of useful information! Thank you very much to all replies and mails! It resulted in an informative article in the Norwegian Street Rod Association's newsletter. Now I'm planning to do the same on the Carson top. Does any of you know something about the story behind it? Did someone named Carson build it first?
Hi! Amos "Happy" Carson was the guy behind the name, Glen Hauser was the guy that did the first Carson tops! Take a look in Wheels Magazine, latest issue (#2-2003), page 24. I wrote about its history there. For those who dont read Swedish, I can recommend an article written by Greg Sharp. Published in R&C 1989 or 1990. Also in R&C yearbook 1990.
