Customs Cars made into Pick-ups

Don’t know if this is an El Camino with Buick sheet metal, or a Buick with an El Camino roof

 

Looks like it started as a 4 door Buick.

 

i was wondering 4 dr wagon?

 

Scrapple-Contains 56 Crown Vic. 58 Desoto and some Hudson/Polara/Chevrolet and Studebaker sprinkled in. Built in 1965. Back on road in 2020

 

well-did notice the polara part!

There is a whole lot going on there.

 

That would make the tailgate easier, but I can't tell from the pic.

This is the only '59 Edsel I have ever liked.

It's possible that it was factory built (or coachbuilder built) as a funeral flower car

 

That bugger is UGLIER than homemade sin.

This was at BTT50s this year. Very well done. I talked to the owners wife. She could explain it all. Started as a 4 door hardtop. Moved rear window/roof forward. Beautiful car/truck.
