NJ17-19 near the top of the "dreaded hill" referred to earlier....Look for the Hamb banner at Moonlight Movies...If you Hambers looking for parts need somewhere to drop your finds while you search through the North field feel free to drop the stuff there and pick it back up on your way out. Just realize if it's something neat I may keep it or sell it !!!. I get there Thursday morning and pack up Saturday night. Big Bob the movie guy... Hey Stan, it should be a bit warmer than outside at Allentown was in January !! (we hope)
hey stan! goodies? i sure hope its some more of that awesome shoe fly pie!! will be there fryday n saturday, see ya'll there. you guys are all class, always enjoy talk'n to ya!
I'll tell you Waddaycare....I like those spots....it's along the hard road at the crest of the hill (not all the way up above the car corral though). Lot's of traffic and many "hard core hunters" tend to hit the North field early looking for bargains ...nice view too !! Only complaint is Sunday it's too far away for any traffic...but it's done by then anyway so I usually pack up Saturday night and sleep in Sunday morning
I hear ya' Bob! The problem I see is that you get so many tuckered out visitors, you run out of beer!
bigbob55, What movies are you gonna have playing on the monitors for the weekend? American Graffitti, drag racing,Hot Rod or pinups? It's fun to stop and watch something to get into the hot rodding mood for the summer!
I'll tell you Carl I think I'll load up a case of Straub and put on a couple "car porn" DVD's.....How about "Doris Does Detroit" !!
Yep, it's coming on fast......been going since ?????......gotta be over 20 years........R-50....right near covered car corral and notary. I will have some 50 Cheby parts and maybe my 37 Sedan, a few vintage gasser parts too. always a good time up there.
Been goin since 84, wouldn't miss it! Always find some goodies to drag home. We always stay up by Harrisburg on Front street and hit the Glass lounge for supper. Great food, reasonable prices.
Ya there are some good places to eat up there that are not overly expensive....Middlesex Dinner is our place to snack...hoping the weather is decent. It would be nice to start out 2012 with good sales....the first 3 meets I had this year were in the dumps...
Well as far as the 10 day forcast is as of today....we should not have a problem....of course lot's can happen in 10 days and what do they know?
31 years for me...boy it really has changed over the years hasn't it...Sunday used to be a good day all around...now Friday is the day....
Will start packing our friends motor home this weekend for the annual trip next Wednesday. They moved us to 4 new spots this year. Hope they are as good as they look on the map.
be there friday . been to hershey or carlisle on and off since 75 with my dad , he can t do the walk any more now my son is going with me
I'll be there with my buddy. My right leg is still 2x it's regular size a month after I went through HIS barn floor, and it swells up when I walk, but I am doin' that hill. Man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, right?
Damn, if you're on Front Street, you can't pass up Passage to India-great food and folks-try the Sunday buffet. It's always our go home stop after Carlisle and York
