I have a Demon Road Demon Jr carb (525cfm) and its been sitting for a few years, so I thought Id take it apart, clean it all up and throw a rebuild kit in it with some fresh gaskets. From my research the Road Demon Jr is based on the 4160 style carb. Just looking for some possibly re world answers from you guys.

My question is will any rebuild kit for a 4160 work?

Also has anyone used the Percys adjust-a-jet metering block?

Yes, about any kit for 4160 will work - a good commercially available one would be the AED 4160 kit.
I'd stay away from the adjust-a-jet thing - it is kinda sexy looking but puts a lot os srain on the linkage and throttle shafts. I moves the accelerator pump that much further away and provides you with a longer arm but the strain of moving the pump thru its' intended travel is great and that'll transfer to worn shafys and baseplate.
