hey all, i am making a call for help. this may seem a little strange but here goes. as most of u know, my father passed away 1 year ago today. now, we are very fortunate to have a few of his prized cars. however, long before i was born he had a 1937 plymouth coupe with a 427 and a 4 speed. he could get the front wheels off the ground. now, he had to sell this car for various reasons and always regretted it. now, about 4 or 5 years ago we saw it at the NW nationals here in spokane. it was low, and black with crazy teal and other color graphics (early 90s style) on the side. he recognized it by the steering wheel, but we couldnt find the owner and the registration tag wasnt in view. now, i know this is going out on a limb, but if any of you have seen this car, or have an idea of its whereabouts, or have a friend who has seen it please drop me a pm. or, any ideas on finding cars would be very much appreciated. this is an important mission for me, any help would be great, thanks-fleet

I hope you find it, I'd post this request on every early MOPAR site I could find, also do a Google "IMAGE" search, a photo may pop up, you never know.

I have had good luck running ads in local papers and auto traders or swap papers ,chances are the owner is a gear head and is always shopping around.I have found 2 of my old cars that way but the owners would not sell them back....Good Luck I wish you the best!

I would think that you would have a better search using the VIN#. Slim chance that the plate number you have is still registered to that car. Maybe call the DMV to see if they can search by VIN, hell even ask a cop to pull up the plate number or VIN number.

It won't help now but hit some of the big meets in your area next year and put up some posters with the pics you have and an appeal to find the car.
