Somebody just did this, but the hive mind here is always great for this. Working on descriptive of this image for a project at the museum i run. These two have me stumped. I'm thinking the one on the right is a circa 1923 Willys of some sort but it just doesn't match any of the reference images I've seen (looking at windows and the hard corners on the back of the body). And i can't make out enough to tell anything helpful on the one under the shell sign except that it's a sedan, the rear corners are rounded but the roof is flat and it's missing the spare tire. Thinking maybe a 26/7 T two door sedan. the rear window proportions look wrong for a 23-25 and then earlier T's had oval windows. Thoughts? This was in NWNC near Mount Airy. this one's compelling. 1923 Hudson Super 6 Coach Coupe and by the way thanks @squirrel. wasn't sure how to do that from my phone.
welcome. If you took the picture, you'd probably have to take it again, with the phone oriented properly and rotation set right, to get the picture to be "landscape". I don't know how to rotate an image on a phone...I generally use a big computer to do that kind of stuff. I expect there's a way, though, there are apps for almost everything.
I'm not sure if you're seeing a difference in C pillar width or is the B pillar on right side making it look that way. Compare where the back panel of the body intersects the fender though, more fender behind the body on the Hudson. I think rc57 may have nailed it.
I've been looking at maxwell's too. I forgot there was a maxwell dealership in town but they appaer to be steel wheeled, not spoke wheels but the are in the vicinity too. Sent from my SM-G950U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
