No, I was actually being serious. But good call on asking me if I was being facetious... because usually I am... or being sarcastic. hahaha :)

  3. Here are a couple from my old stomping grounds, (42 to 63) Eugene/ Springfield and surrounding area. KLAN from the early 60s, still in exientance today, and Hot Heads from then, dont know if they are still active or not. I believe you already have the "Jolly Coachman" from Dexter from early 60s.

  5. Bill,
The "1-59" is the original Pgh chapter & the "2-59" was worn on hotrods from the Columbus,Oh. chapter. All of this in hopes & dreams of chapters everywhere!

you know , kind of a world domination thingy.

  6. Got a call from Danny wanting to know if I had the original pattern for the Pharaohs of Oxnard and the answer is yes. It was made by Speed Gems - probably thru a local speed shop or mail order house.

or if they had new plaques made somewhere along the timeline. I think someone on here is, or was, a member of the Long Beach Cavaliers and has that plaque on their car.

How about this one.... circa 1915! "Vashon Island Automobile Club" this is the only one of these plaques known to exist, it was wired onto the radiator of an early automobile, this one was on my great grandpa's 1910 Everitt...

With the help of several HAMBers this month, we now have 5,500 different car club plaques on our site.

Thanks to all of you who helped us reach that number.

Well Bulletnose make that 5501. When I was a kid in the 70's this is the club my dad ran with. Out of Los Angeles area. Had alot of fun cruising around on poker runs and shows in the panel. Good memories.
