The young man may not be getting many good club name ideas, but I found me a new word to use!

It used to be the "driver" of a race car was called the "handler"; East Bay Handler's comes to my mind.
    I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Usually, young folks are encouraged in their automotive interests around here. Using the word "rat" anywhere close to a club name, for example, is the poison pill around here. It's simply not done and probably explains most of the sideways comments. The wagons are quickly circled if the purity of the breed is threatened. You have to be exposed to the culture for a while to grasp the idea that thoroughbreds are not only about horses. Vehicles have breeding and history, too.

  14. I can't take credit for that. A friend of mine coined that one.

NO DIPSHITNESS is the RULE OF LAW at the MILLTOWN show!

And you know what you get at that event? You get well over a thousand people of all ages having a good time with their hot rods all weekend. Think about that before you jump all over some kid who is actually excited about cars and actually interested in your advice; that's getting pretty rare.

This won't work for you but I'm thinking of starting a geezer club called "Senile and Surly"

Hey! How about..... East Bay Good Knights?
...and your girlfriends could have a 'sister' club: "Ladies of the Knights"...

    It's a thought...
