Can't send PMs

I've tried in vain 5-6 times over the last 6 months to send a PM to a couple different members. The addresses were correct and all, but once I hit the "send" button, it gets launched into space, never to be seen again. Is there a setting I need to change on my computer or on my Control Panel. I'm using Internet Explorer 8. Thanks in advance.

I know that if you send one and the receiver doesnt open it, it wont show in your sent folder, if that is where you are looking for it to be. If they have actually told you they never got it, then nevermind....try sending me one right now and lets see what happens...

PM Sent. For what it's worth, this one shows up as a "sent Message" on my CP. I don't think I did anything differently this time.
