You can build MY car for me if you're bored , lol !!
You can finish up my chopped and sectioned 49 AD.....Shit, seems like I aint never gonna start working on it again....in betweein of selling my old house, buying a new one, moving 50 miles, a premie baby with a 2 month hospital stay, get the baby home for a month and then she goes back into the hospital for emergency surgery....(here now....)
I miss workin on my shit heap...
What a blast, can't wait til winter!
Second that H.T. It's been a rough three months at the Salty residence...I can't wait for the weather to cool down and life to get back to normal....
Hopefully we'll be able to hook up at the turkey run this year eh?
Good to see your still giddy about your 32....you deserve it.
Thought I'd touch base with you guys and let you know I took the old girl out today. I was asked by a friend of mine to show up at a local show. Was a good day and she still looks good for her age.
I really need to drive this wonderful coupe more often, life just keeps getting in the way. After one year she has only seen 1000 miles on her tires. That's guna change.....
not sure thats a good idea....welding to cast iron...
Congrats on award! X2 on driving it more!! I have almost 2000 miles on mine since October See ya at the Roundup

WOW!! Not sure how I missed this one but glad you reposted with your recent trophy. Amazing build and attention to detail!! I love that you did extra steps to make everything look amazing. Great job!!!
Thanks Dustdevil, a year has pasted and I'm ready to start another build. I'm looking for a 36 three window. That should be fun.........
We just made it to Gainseville for Billetproof. The show is tomorrow, can't wait!
good luck ,have fun....take pics
yep ! ,.... Lots of pictures.:d
Had a great time, lots of cool rides. Sorry my camera took a swim and is dead.
Coupe is still going strong! Miss you guys.
That looks bad ass. Let the snobs pay $20,000 for a hunk of rust.
I don't want to hijack WT's thread but thanks a lot, I've changed the engine to a Chrysler 392 and a few other little things since that photo was taken.
If it looks like a Hot Rod & it sounds like a Hot Rod....then it's a Hot Rod, regardless of what it is made out of.......you have one nice Hot Rod there Mate.
enjoyed this build very much! ty
Looking good Skirv!
David, Brenda told me the other day she was ready for me to start another build, maybe we should do a build off, lol. I'm thinking something custom leadsled looking thingaofabobber, you know, long and low.
Sure do miss you buddy, don't see you round here much anymore, so lets crank it up and build something.
I somehow failed to subscribe to this thread and was wondering how it turned out - good to see it resurface.
Amazing! There are no words for what you did and the level of quality. Gotta ask, when you cut grass, do you use a scissors and cut one blade at a time for the most perfect lawn?
Seriously, I'm glad this thread showed up again as I had never seen it. Spent all evening admiring your work.
I've been thinking about doing that for a few years with my 34. I'm thinking the glue they use for body panels nowadays would probably hold well. Does SAR sell a skin by itself? Already louvred? I had a budy build me an aluminum firewall and roll pan and they turned out neat, I think
Here's the firewall
Looks every nice Ragtop!
Took the old girl out last weekend.
We sure had fun, Del can sure put on a show. I am looking for a 36 three window now to build. I'm ready to get it on again.
Looks awesome in that lighting. Cool effect.
