Hi, I'm Bebe from Auburn, CA.

I came here to look for info on Vintage Parts that my Dad left to my Sisters and I when he passed recently in Jan.

We have a huge job ahead of us and I'm looking to this new to me community to help steer us in the right direction.

The is a lot we know and even more we don't know. I come from the extreme 4x4 community and they were very quick to point us over here to help us identify some of the rarer parts and project vehicles Dad left to us.

You can view the Vintage Roadster/Lakester on this thread here on the H.A.M.B.

and here in my home community on the Pirate4x4 Message Board.

Thanks in advance for all your help and I look forward to meeting you all at the swap meets.

    All the best,

    Bebe

Welcome from a fellow newby here in Grass Valley. If you're into old crusty vehicles, Throwbacks Thursdays at Paco's Tacos is where all the vintage two-wheelers congregate monthly in the summer.

I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like your dad was an amazing person. And with the automotive knowledge that you have you will have no problem building your dads old race cars. I am also very happy that you will restore them and keep them in the family. It's going to take a hell of alot of research and hopefully you have some pictures, or us hamb members will find you some pictures. I will do my best to help with trying to find some pics for you. I just finished my old El Mirage/Bonneville Lincoln powered Roadster. I still can't find anything on my car but I have not stopped looking. Everybody that has seen the car thinks it was Harvey Hallers old Roadster. I wish you the best and hope all is well, Here are some pics of my baby.

Take care and have fun building those beautiful cars your dad will be proud.

    Hudson Joe.
