  3. @loudbang , your profile says your location is the right coast. Not sure exactly where you are and I know you suggested you were out of the country in your original post, but if you're anywhere around the central east coast of the US, and would like to just be around someone during this very tough time, please reach out to me. We can hang out, talk, work on some hot rods, whatever.

You hurt very badly I am sure.
Work through it the best you possibly can and know his pain & suffering is gone now.
God is with you and don't forget it..

@loudbang, Heartfelt Condolences to you, your Family and friends in the devastating loss of your son Christopher including complications of just trying to no avail to be close to him in his darkest hours...heartbreaking...as others have said he is at peace now...surely that doesn't bring much comfort to you but try to remember the good times to help balance the hurt...

    May He Rest in Peace...

    Regards,
    Stogy

i have open arms for you brother . cancer took my brother 30 yrs ago , tried real hard to take me 15 years ago , and took my dad a year ago in a couple weeks ,, its hard ,nothing can change that .all we can do is honor them by remembering them and living our lives with the purpose of making them proud of us , i miss them dearly every day , i have few relatives left in this world but those that i have i call often and let them know they are loved , in all actuality life is fragile and love is all we have .

I can’t imagine your pain. Loss of a child has to be one of the most unbearable events I can conceive of.

    Loudbang,
I feel for you man, as I have had family and friends who have passed from cancer as well. I'm sure what hits the hardest is the fact that it happened to your son.
It will take some time but the pain will lessen over time. Think of the good times you had with him and know that he is no longer suffering.
The tremendous outpouring of support you have received I hope will help to ease your grief.
My thoughts are with you brother.

Sir, I have tried to write this post all day and I couldn't find the words. I am the father of 3 and I would gladly say take me, I'll go. I'm so sorry for your loss. But also KNOW that there is hope in all things through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Sometimes life doesn't make sense but it is beautiful.

So sorry to read of the loss of your son. Others have posted about every expression of empathy, sympathy and support that can be imagined and I salute the sensitivity they have shown in this sad time for you. I cannot add anything more except to say I share their sentiments and wish you strength and eventual peace of mind.

    Regards,
    Ray

I can't even imagine how you must feel, we are not supposed to outlive our kids. Throughout the course of an illness we try to prepare ourselves but we are never truly prepared to lose a loved one. My sincerest condolences, you will be in our prayers.
