Hello, I live only a few blocks from the American Border in White Rock British Columbia, (the burbs just east of from Vancouver). As a kid I knew I wanted a chopped custom. I found a close neighbour that was putting together a 38 businessman coupe in a garden shed that was only a couple of feet bigger than the car and I was hooked. I had no cash at young age, so I taught myself how to weld and fabricate, Books, Magazines and Forums helped. I like to do it all myself but I especially love the metal fabrication, welding and painting. I appreciate great work and I am always wanting to learn more. This site has been so helpful and I am greatful to be here. Really great guys here that not only know what they are talking about, they are doing it. I have a 1950 Mercury and just put a deposit down on another 51. I want to have at least six and thanks to Slddnmatt, I know I am not crazy. ....or am I?
