Gang, I got this dash yesterday for my A coupe and the seller could only offer mid-1920s and Studebaker as his best guess. There is a decaying wood panel and a clinically overbuilt drain pan on the back. The single switch on the front has 3 psns - off - on (at the top) - off. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanx, Gary
Yes, close... and what a beauty, too. After a snack for dinner, I found these images on the web, identified as 25-27 Studebakers. Give a pinch of salt IRT web accuracy, I'm leaning towards the 27 year Big Six Commander. The lower portions of them all are very similar, differing mostly on what appears to be a round light on the passenger side, but the decorative valance over the dash on the 27 more closely resembles mine. But then again, several different valances could have been options over the years. Hopefully the experts will weigh in. What think? Gary
Gary, it looks, by the drainpan, to be over-engineered! Sure it's not from a SAAB? Looks as though you're in the right neighborhood at least.
