Every Tuesday I've been doing a something called Twin Engine Tuesday on one of my Facebook groups, heck I may have even started the trend, anyway I was just wondering if we could start a twin engine dragster thread of cars from the Fuel ban, Top Gas era. I've done a search and come up with a few threads but none are very long. Here are a few I've got saved on my computer.

That's pretty wild, don't recall ever seeing this car before.
Sure would hate to think what the outcome would be if a valve cover gasket let go, considering the proxmity to the slicks.

Always loved this combo. It quickly undermines any argument that the engines have to be perfectly in sync.

Look at the frame torqueing! God, I loved drag racing!

I bet this one was interesting to try to drive while the front tires "argued" over which one was in charge.

The Freight Train was always one of my favorites. The cowcatcher is kinda funky, the ladies kinda nice.

Yes, I think it was called "The Odd Couple".

  24. I'm guessing this is in a dragster frame, engine pic all I got.
Something a little different, and not from the fuel ban era, but it's cool. IMG_20160502_230516.png

    hello,
i took this movie clip in 1960 from the spectator side stands. this was the classic race of 1960 at lions dragstrip. lefty mudersbach twin injected chevys vs. the howard cam twin supercharged dragster. the huff and puff and it took several seconds to win... enjoy.

    Hello,
Here is an early shot of Warren Colburn Miller twin FED. I do not have a moving, action, race clip, but this was in the pits at Lions in 1960...It fits right into this thread.
    Thanks,
    Jnaki
