Can t get tranny off

Me too! Sometimes the moderators get up tight and when I seen the other thread on a stuck trans I thought this one had been deleted. Glad it's still here. I miss some of the old guys that were so artful and entertaining.

 

Is it still in the car, or on the ground? Are the pedals still on it? can you "depress" the clutch pedal in any manner?( foot, bar, etc) puts a relatively even outward pressure on the trans.

 

Mods are human. I wouldn't say we're "uptight" (at least, not typically). When stuff gets deleted it's never personal - it's editorial (off topic/fighting/drama)...the staff here works hard to keep the HAMB focused on the cars - because, after all, that's what most folk come here for.

 

had this happen once, eventually had to beat it off with a block of wood and big hammer.
