Can Cadillac and Olds windshields be swapped?

I am in need of a front windshield and rear glass for a 1955 Cadillac. I have a friend that has the glass out of a 1955 Olds. My question is........will the Olds glass fit in a Cadillac?

 

No, Olds swapped with the smaller Buicks, and Cady swapped with the bigger Buicks - Supers and Roadmasters of the same body-style.

So, a '55 cady would swap with a '54-56 Buick Super or Roadmaster of same body-style - i.e. hard-top or sedan.

Good luck, suff is out there is you are patient. If you are in a hurry, stuff gets expensive...
