I have a 32 ford pickup that i am planning on running a ax15 5 speed. I want to run a master cyl. under the floor. Is there a pedal set that anyone can recomend for this setup.
Yea, good question. I too would like to change the mechanical breaks and have something that will also work in conjunction with a hydrolic clutch for a modern five speed.
I realized that nothing is going to be a complete bolt in but i dont have a 32 pedal set so before i buy a set i was just curious to see what other people have modified to for a similar setup
http://www.verntardel.com/collections/chassis As hang down petals go id say these are probably pretty good, i'm gunna order one when i get the coin because i need hydralic clutch toof-1's will work too, but they are hang down, also As floor petals go, '40's should get you close and they did it a lot in the old days, but i dont know how thats gunna interfere with crossmembers. Also is it hydralic clutch??
A friend had Kennedy's Hot Rod Shop install Juice brakes on his '32 roadster. They used a pedal conversion kit that retained the stock pedals, required no cutting on the K-member, & converted to juice brakes. I can't remember where it came from but it was somewhere in Cali.
Pete & Jakes males a brake pedal mount with a hydraulic clutch pedal/master cylinder http://www.peteandjakes.com/parts/32/32_brake.htm
This is the place- http://www.earlyv8garage.qpg.com/ Did a '32 Fordor last year with their parts- worked perfectly!
I used the Early V8 Shop kit. Uses the original pedals... worked great. There is a picture of the kit in this thread... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=519061
