Technical Can anyone identify this transmission? Twin High

    Just picked this up at an estate sale. Says Twin High Transmission Company. Maybe it's an overdrive? Old tag said possibly a Maxwell? Any info out there?

    Very nifty! Never heard of or seen one, although there was a similar product in the '50s, can't recall the name.
    Later, there were the Warn overdrive units that installed in the drive train.
    I installed one in Mr. Allison's Willys Jeep at Allison BMW, 1975.

    The ad copy for the truck unit implies that it is just the opposite of an overdrive.
    Maybe the passenger car unit is the other way around.
