Technical Can a 35 Ford PU cab make a lakes roadster?

    Here is my project, 1946 Roadster Pick up. Narrowed to fit on 32 rails. Made from misc. parts and cast offs. Body is narrowed 8 inches, 8 inches off the bottom, and the floor is now 4 inches closer to the dash. Uses MG windshield frame that I cut 2 inches out of and Tigged it back together. Yes, I am trying to polish a terd!! and practice my welding skills.

    That is interesting 37Milrat. I recognized the MG posts before I read the text. My dad used to restore MG's.
     
  3. i see you have an extra cowl, how about using it instead of the back of the cab and weld a hood and enclosed grill [facing backwards] in lieu of a pickup bed. the lines should flow and it would have the shape of a drop tank. i am sure someone can photo shop this for you.
