Technical Camshaft break in

    Why did you choose solid mechanical lifters on a motor that probably wont see 6-7k rpm?

  2. When taking the time to do a cam swap, I always would spend the few dollars and replace the lifters. Unless your replacing the heads or changing to a racing profile cam grind the stock push rods will suffice. I would just check them for wear and clean them out real good. You should be good to go. Your already into the motor, a couple of new parts is easy compared to retearing the top end apart to change later and maybe screwing up the cam. My 2 cents.
