Event Coverage Camperdown Cruise

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Binga, Oct 23, 2010.

  1. 68 wagon and I cruised the 1 1/2 hrs down to Camperdown in his wagon on what must be one of the roughest roads in Australia, my back is killing me, glad I didn't take the RPU.
We got there early as the cars were starting to cruise in and had to leave before lunch.
Congrats to Arthur and the Flukes for a cool show.

Thanks for the pics Binga, its easy to forget how many cool cars there are in Oz when you look in ASR!

    next time your driving binga
great job done by the flukes and arthur.shame we had to leave early

  13. Your a mad man behind the wheel, lucky we were in your wagon and not in my RPU as there would be no way we could have made it down and back in that short of time.
    DAMN that road was ROUGH.

  14. Thanks for the pics Binga, sounds like you took some back roads... always fun! Well staying on them anyway.

  15. Nah we were on the main road from Ballarat and Scott was going that fast that he was hitting the top of every 3rd bump.......:D
No money has been spent on this road for many a year, maybe Brumby needs to put in another speed camera to raise some revenue.

  16. Nice pix Binga - we split for Camperdown on the Fri nite and drove the coupe down with A BONED and the rest of the Wise Guys in pissing down rain.

of ocurse being the anal bastard that I am, I fitted the hood on Thurs nite just knowing it was gonna piss down straight after work on Fri nite - RARE !!

But real happy with the way the car ran on Fri nite/weekend - even the rozzers ignored us in the servo at Colac. Asked us if the cars were.............. "Fords" ?? HAHA !!

Congrats to Arthur and the Crew for a great event - next year is sure to be bigger and better !!

    WELL DONE LADS !!

  17. Obviously weren't to worried about a lack of fenders either, wonder if they will be that generous at Bright.

Cool event coverage bro, love the historic buildings and the town square like setting. Some really tasty rides. Bad boy 57 Buick and yikes, what a mill in that cool ride. That 50 fastback Buick is sweet also. Always a pleasure to get over to Australia even if via this great medium. Viva la International H.A.M.B.!! Rock on brothers and sisters of Oz.! ~Sololobo~

  19. Mate thats an easy fix - gonna give the ol Bright a miss.

Not my kinda gig anymore....and not interested in givng Dumby & Co any of my hard earned either, they take enough as it is.

Should try the back road into Wangaratta from Bonnie Doon. Did that once in the roadster, it hurt!
