Guy's when i got my 394 Olds somebody had already been at it, Some of the core plugs in the block head face had been removed so i'm not sure which holes are blocked off, I found a diagram on the web showing the water flow through the engine and worked out the holes to block off (pic below) Can anybody confirm its correct please ???
langy I got set of solids from camcraft [410 822 2122]. Ross in Ohio [330 544 4466] has alot of early Olds stuff, and they are very helpful and excellent to deal with.
Fusick and USA Parts Supply both do big body Olds stuff, ig ot some parts for the 394 in my 59 Olds from them when we rebuilt the top end of the motor. I also have a spare 59/60 Olds 394 cylinder head here if you ever need one.
Problem solved, just found a set in my workshop !!! I had a feeling i wouldn't of bought a cam without lifters !!! Must be getting old.
for 394 parts hit up Ross racing engines, hes a hamber too. all good quality stuff. Ross Racing Engines Niles,Ohio 330-544-4466 whats the engine going in?
