alright guys, i've been driving my 1961 cadillac around and noticed that while i'm giving the car gas on a turn the trans tends to CUT OUT. i can actually FEEL the trans stop working. once the car stops leaning into a turn and starts driving straight again the trans begins to grab again and works fine. the tranny is full and does have a minor leak (i need a trans pan gasket)
i have an extra trans incase this one goes bad but still, i'd like to know a little more on the trannys.
what would cause this in the hydro?

any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys!

try an extra quart of trans fluid your dipstick may not be reading correctly. when you go around a turn the fluid is moving away from the pick up causing this.
