caddy truck

  1. does anyone know anything about the caddy pickup in the movie grease lightning with richard pryor? Ive been on the search for it and have found nothing.

    i didnt see the car in the movie but funeral homes use whats called a flower car which lookes like a pickup

    Yep....Flower car.Do a search.I have seen a few for sale over the last couple years here

    In the early 60's the Cad dealer in downtown Seattle had a cool Mid 50's Caddy pickup as a part chaser. It may have been a flower car of a modified hearse or ambulance. It was always sitting on their lot by the service dept when I would ride by with my dad.

    As others have said, probably a 'flower car' Meteor was a hearse/ambulance manufacturer that did a lot of conversions, Miller was another.

    Anyhow, here are a couple of pics I have.
