Nice ride. That looks much better than what I started with. I've got some pictures of mine on my home page if you want to check it out. Chopped and sectioned

Doesn't look too bad, obviously in need of a little TLC, but from what I can see fairly straight. I love '49 Caddy's especially with a good chop. They look so clean when they're done up right.

  5. A couple of nice ones in NZ.
    One stock and one chopped.

Well, I think he's now asking $10k dollars. I think thats way too much.
I offered $5000 and got a big NO.

He might get a better grasp on the value of the car after a few months.

I think your offer of 5,000 was right on.

I also think the offer was ok. He's been trying to sell it for a few months already.

I paid $2500.00 for mine. It was a bone stock car but severly rusted underneath. Fellow HAMB'r Twentygallons was kind enough to pull it out of 3 feet of snow for me.

I came across some pictures of a project Gambino Kustoms started awhile ago and immediately began searching for a Sedanette. Fell in love with one before I ever saw one in person. The Gambino car is the last thing I think about when I go to bed at night. Mine is the first thing I think of when I wake up.

Here's a few pictures of the Gambino car. I hope Alex doesn't mind me posting these. I believe the car left his shop and hasn't been seen since. His work is top notch though and I'm sure he's inspired many people with his builds.

Here's mine when Twentygallons pulled it home and a shot after the 5 inch chop and pie cut section.

Boy, that car did see some snow and sun light. But all in all I doubt this one is in much better condition than yours.

    Awesome job.

I also wonder how they manage to get that old metal that straight and clean.
