I bought this 425 around 15 years ago thinking it was a 500 (oops). At the same time I called TCI and had them build this Turbo 400 trans. I'm not an expert on this stuff and its been a long while since I had this done ... Had them put a short tail shaft on vs the really long Cadillac shaft. I told them it was going in my 69 Chevy panel truck that was going to be used for long hauls and probably towing. No idea if that helps give you an idea on how it was built. I cant find any paper work on it but I feel like it was around 1700 bucks? Might have been a version of the street fighter? I also picked up these Sanderson silver ceramic coated block huggers. I looked them up and they are going for 786 bucks at couple of sites. Engine has been sitting on that stand inside my shop all of this time (surprised it hasn't bent it). I don't remember what the fella said about it. It does turn over by hand. I have a box with a bunch of brackets and I believe the carb is in there too. No shipping, no separating, looking for a local buyer cash only. Mark T
