Anyone ever put a one piece window kit in a 64-66 c10, I found a kit ( they don't make them anymore) but it looks a pain to. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
been a while since I looked at one up close, but I think there's a slight angle between the vent and main glass...so to make it work well, you'd need to figure out how to deal with that. I've seen a few not so good conversions on other vehicles that would have better if they had been left stock. and vent windows are nice to have, if you don't have AC
Yeah I agree but I do have AC and I like the look of the one piece, I know I'll have to modify some things but I was thinking that is some had done one or more in the last on these trucks they may have some advise . Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I took out a one piece conversion from a 59. My advise is "don't do it"....but hopefully someone who made it work well will also chime in
i'm gonna agree with squirrel on this one. i did it on an off topic vehicle, and hated how it can out. i went back to stock.
Wing windows are one of the reasons I drive old cars. 1 piece windows on a truck scream street rod to me. Now that I have my useless opinion out of the way... If I was trying to do this, I would buy a crappy door and make it work on that first. Once you make your mistakes on that one, you are good to go for the other two... It's a custom truck, on air bags with everything tucked and shaved, that's the only reason I was considering the one piece windows Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
