Original Ford C-cabs were made of steel with some wood framing for the body, and lots of wood for the top. I'm not sure on years, but I think they were in production from about 1923-1926. All used a proprietary version of the early cowl. Two really good books came out last year on the model "T", and one of them has a good section on commercial trucks. Hope that helps. Something quick to add, Howell's out of Texas offers just about all the panels for a C-cab except the cowl and doors. might take a look at thier websight to see how this stuff looks. Thier catalogue always had a blown-up drawing of a C-cab body in it.

I am glad to see I am not the only T freek , I have a 1916 center door T, It has a 265 vette motor with a x-1 manifold with 6 97 carbs, If you want to check it out ,I think it is still on the Radir Wheels website. They made a metal p.u, cab from 1919 to 1923, They made a panel delivery in 1914, but they where made out of wood,

  15. Picture of Andy's T the day I sold it for the second time in 2000. The guy still owns it and it lives in a vaccum bubble. The other picture is me in 1976 just before I bought it for the first time, without the Cub Barnett engine. Happy days

I have a redwood C-cab that was built by a cabinet maker in Bisti NM designed to fit a 28-29 Model A CCPU. It's 6-1/2" longer than a stock cab. I also have some nice interior cushions. It's in Durango and I'd be happy to give it away. I kept the flatbed when I replaced the c-cab with a metal cab extended 6-1/2" as it gets cold here in Durango.

    PM me if you're interested.

The "silver concept" is actually an old Dan Woods body from the early 70s. I think someone had the mold up for sale a while back.
