    Wow, the chrome looks great.
Picking up a 331 next week, then the hunt begins for some "nice" speed parts.

The chrome stuff looks great Marcus. Is there a trick to keep the headers looking chrome, instead of turning colors when they get hot?

    WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!
(If that is a Fram)please take that ugly, inferior pos oil filter off and throw it as far away from your engine as you can! They're the absolute worst filter ever made...It's not worthy of your Cad! Wix filters paint up nicely and work well.
    Great build thread...thanks for posting!

Supposedly the trick is to jet-hot coat the insides. I'm just gonna let mine blue up.

hahaha The Fram filter is ugly and will be replaced with a Blue NOS AC Filter..trick to not turning color on the headers, mostly try and keep your carbs tuned, but they eventually all turn color after a while..but thats ok with me...I just cant do the hi temp coat look.

If this blown baby Hemi thing don't work out for me I will be looking for a Caddy. God I hate lusting over other rodders "stuff". Very nice build!

  16. Looks great Marcus. You've got a great combo of parts there that really compliment each other. Well done.

btw, I've still got my intake cover and offy valve covers I got off you years ago tucked away for a OHV Cad. A supercharged flathead Cad is happening first though.

    It's looking great!

  27. I'm sure there are a lot of people lamenting the loss of another flattie, but this setup is about as traditional as it gets! The whole idea of loosing the flatheads when the OHV's came out was more cubes and better breathing. Even at the expense of more weight.
You can bet when the flat motor in my 47 dies I'll be looking for some kind of OHV to take it's place....
