Fantastic choice. I never would have thought a modern color would have the right look. Killer job.

    Hey Marcus,
Man, that Cadillac sure looks good in there. Love all the chrome. I second guessed your thinking (I know)..... I was wrong. That thing looks perfect in there.

    Hope you like it.

Great read and build, you nailed it! Very nice article in the latest S.R. too, I guess they'll have to follow up when you get the caddy dialed in.

You are going to LOVE that motor. Especially with the T-5. The torque is amazing. Nothing looks cooler than a dressed Caddy. I'm somewhat partial.

Marcus, i'm interested in your choice of engine parts, standard rocker arms or adjustable? Solid or hydraulic lifters? Valve springs standard or stronger? You get the distributer to fit?I'm thinking of overhauling mine in the near future so I'm looking for some tips. Sure looks great though! G

standard Rockers,Hydraulic lifters, cant recall what Tim used for Valve Springs off the top of my head,Tim?..What do you mean by did the Distributor fit? The Roto Faze dropped in , however like a dummy didnt check firewall clearance with the crab cap set up so it was a no go there and will be using the Joe hunt Mag look alike HEI distributor instead.I like the fact its internally coiled.

What a great choice! How did the 304 inch flathead run? I'm working on 4-1/4 x 3-3/8 blown (4-71) flathead for my 33 3w.

Update Pics.Been running into one little issue after the next.Trying to get the 34 running for the Sacramento Autorama. It seemed like we had all the time in the world but now its a race against the clock.Still need to fire the engine up and break it in this week and then take parts off for chrome plating.Going to be very close! Header flanges were not straight at all and wouldn't bolt up properly to the engine.More time wasted.Chrome Pulley that came with the engine didn't line up at all, Kevin found a pulley lying around the shop that fit just right. [IMG]

Like a dummy I didnt realize when we did the trial fit that the crap capped Roto Faze distributor wouldnt be able to move to time it, so I sold it to another fellow HAMBer and Bbught a Joe Hunt Mag Look alike HEI instead. [IMG]
