  18. Well movin right along. I'll have to come by and get it outside so I can take in a long cool drink of it.

The chopped grill shell is real subtle man. No one will even notice, well they won't even notice that its channeled either, which is what you really want in a hot rod. looks modified wish I could figure out what they did.

@porknbeaner I think the choice to channel the grill instead of chopping it helps a lot. The early shell is pretty short to start out so dropping it to cover the front cross member really brings it about the same over all height as a chopped/ sectioned 32 shell.

I think things start really looking wonky and spindly pretty fast when you section/chop a 28/9 grill shell

Well the starter is locked in and wont let the motor turn and now for some reason the trans isnt going in gear even tho the shifter is going in and out of all gears. Soo.. This is going to hell in a hand basket

To clarify for those willing to help

The starter drive is stuck in the ring gear an doesn’t want to let go.

Thinking a wrench on the crank pulley will move it enough for a second person to jossel the starter out.

Normaly you could put it in high gear and rock the car back and forth to do the same thing.

That brings the second issue to light.

The 36 trans goes into all gears but for some reason it’s acting like they are all neutral gears. I think he was playing with mocking the clutch linkage up and maybe that jossled the clutch out of engaging enough that the wheel free wheel.

First thing I guess get the starter drive out of the fly wheel.

@Bruce Lancaster would you happen to have any bright ideas?

@TexasSpeed any ideas in the trans? Youve had a few of these apart and together.
