Bush find truck cab identification!

So....I'm thinking this is approximately a 1935-36 Ford truck cab. It is free for my taking if I want it. No glass or lower cowl and obviously no title. I was thinking of grabbing it just to flip it. How close am I to the approx year? The waterfall trim on the dash is the clue....

not a 35-36. it's a 37-38 with a35-36 car dash installed.

Firewall isn't right for a ford.

 

Guess it will be that dip in the top of the cowl that is the clue! Still worth grabbing in my opinion.

 

Could also be a 39 Fargo

 

I was just going off of the windshield I know the 35-36 are unsplit and the 37-38 have a divider.

 

Looks like its a 41-46 Chevy.Pic from Ebay....

it looks like the Ford dash is just laying in front of the cabs real dash.

 

Maybe 39-40 also.....I say GM.........

 

It is a 41-46 chevy truck cab.I dont know what the dash is but it isnt correct for the truck.the firewall on 39-40 trucks is a little different.The rear window is different from 41 to 42-46.If it has mounting holes around the rear window it is a 41, if it doesn't it is a 42 or 46.The 41 had a window frame like the 39-40.the 42-46 used rubber on the pinch weld to mount the glass.

 

I know a little about these trucks because right now i i have about 6 them in my garage/storage.The one in my avatar is a 40.
