Let me just say this in advance: Pardon me if I fall asleep while I'm talking to you at Paso this year.... I already had my Paso registration when I got invited to the world premier for the movie 'Cars' which happens to be Friday night in Charlotte, North Carolina (how could I miss that?). Wife and I are flying in Thursday, work party Thursday night, Premier friday night, fly back Saturday AM to SFO, drive home to East Bay, jump in the 39 Merc and drive two hundred miles to Paso-- Hope to make it in by 2:30 -3:00 on Saturday! Yes, I'll miss the drive-in on Friday, and yes, I'll miss most of the show on Saturday including the HAMB meet-- But I'm coming! And whooping it up Saturday night too! Wish me luck!
Oh boy, that will be interesting, don't fall asleep at the wheel I don't wanna see that merc get hurt!!
hardcore-- the way lifes supposed to be run. have a safe trip and maybe see you in Paso... -scott noteboom
Let me break out my little violin. Dude, you know the story. Three years ago I woke up in Atlantic City early on Friday morning. Flew back to SFO, hopped in my shoebox, and made it to Cruise Night and slept in SLO that same night. I think I won farthest travelled. And you're used to shoving 100 events into one weekend! Mike
Do you have any formal HAMB attire? Maybe we can get Ryan to make some HAMB bowties to go with your tux? Have a safe journey! -Jay
UPdate: I'm back. The premier wrapped up at midnight, bus left the track by 1:15 EST. Food in uptown Charlotte, in bed by 2:30 Sat Morning. Wake up call at 5 am. Flight at 7:40.
