    Any resemblance between the T-bird and Continental was fully intentional; Ford engineered them both on the same platform and cowl structure. I've heard the long nose on the T-bird was due to an early front-wheel-drive proposal.

    new to the forumn. I had to throw these mustang wheels on the clear my disc brakes. found them on craigslist with brand new pirelli tires for $200, deal of the year. still has the original 390 thats crying for a rebuild.

    Looks like the Lincoln and T-bird were made on different sides of the same production line, and shipped mixed together in the same rail cars too.
