If they are run at fixed, zero degrees slope, and exactly 90 degrees to the shafts, it wont be a problem, except for maybe lubrication.

    HA!

    Only 11 minutes. :D

    Not saying you're wrong.

It's just that some things are exceptionally predictable here.

I would have run a coupling and dispensed with the U-Joints entirely, assuming the housing is rigid mounted.

  6. well ron i dont care what they say, i know its a fact now.

you do have a short drive shaft.

    :D:D

I started to weld the locating ribs in today. I made them out of three pieces to help eliminate some scrap that I had laying around

And a pic of the mounting points

And one that I thought was pretty neat, the 'swoop' at the back end

You ever notice that for every hour that you spend on the 'skin'; you have to spend 3 on stuff that noone will ever see?[IMG]
I'm still working on all the body mounts and 'stuff'. Here you can see the air scoops that will eventually feed the engine and the other side will be air for the driver.

    003.jpg
The rear is starting to take shape as well, still fighting fitment issues
There's space but I still have to use it wisely[IMG] The engine tucked nicely into place and I found out that my 'shot gun' pipes are too short. These things are taking up quite a bit of time..

It's a lot of stuff under the skin... the heat vents that allow the rad. heat to escape, and the rad. support
